I'm sure you have seen many posts talking about getting a little extra kick of sensitivity putting the disc either high or below 4.....
I run both my F75 & T2 as "hot" as possible...... sens. 90's, disc below 3 for many reasons......(& endure chatter or "ear fatigue" like some folks just can't handle). But, many of my sites go back to the 1600's, and are in the woods. So, were talking well over 250 years of leaf litter pushing desireables like small coins, buttons, etc to depths many units can't get a good ID on. Often we hear blips like iron & you gutta wonder if that was a goodie just out of range of the VLF units ID. We
know there's more there like tiny, thin 1/2 Reales, & Tree TwoPences.....but they could be 18" deep or more.......
So, I have been returning to "hammered" sites and running with a boatload of chatter I can pull out lots of new things that just plain didn't ID right or give a repeatable signal with disc say on 20. Some guys I hunt with say they can't stand that much "noise"......but it's getting me to new things, so I have become used to it & consider it like a threshold now. But, many would call it just a headache & too much watching of the numbers. I turn my headphones way down, or if in deep woods, roll with no phones......
Now that I'm getting over the Lyme, I'm anxious to get back out to one of these places with the F75 LTD to see if that can get me an even better ID on some of these hundreds of "blips" that are around every Colonial cellar hole. It should be fun (although if it's not deer ticks, it's deer hunters now)

I'll leave you with this video again that features the "chatter" (T2 on this hunt) with the settings of 99 & zero disc......
HH, Bill
