F75LTD....how deep

Have any of you guys noted how deep you have found coins......I buried a quarter at about 12 inches or a little more it will hit it somewhat enough to dig with the 11 inch coil the 5 inch coil hit a little better...I didn't measure it......in bp.....hh.....Dan

I can say with certainty that it is deeper than my Explorer II on silver dimes. And given the reputation of Minelabs on silver, that's saying a lot!

The little 5" coil does get wonderful depth and in the trash is a real killer. It, however, from my experience, is not as deep as the 11" DD. I once dug a silver quarter with my regular F 75 at a measured 12," so I'm confident that my LTD in the bp mode will hit coins at least that deep if I come across one. HH jim tn

If the small coil is going deeper than the large coil it my be the big coil is being masked by some trash
and the small coil gets a clean look at the target

It was a while back when I used the 5 inch coil and it did pick it up in a trashy area.... it will isolate it better......I was real new to f75ltd then....it is very impressive to me .....hh......Dan
