F75LTD......Settings.....Manual....Info

Does most of the ltd users here think the best setting for them are 0-7 disc.and as high of sens. as you can tolerate noise wise that is....the tones may vary to each there own I know......the manual says.....the disc.mode is designed to operate silently per page 19 SENSITIVITY in disc' mode adjust sensitivity down until it becomes quite.....another interesting thing it says in the parag. above it says....sens. may increase as disc. increases depending on process numbers and notches being used...any and all thoughts on this would be appreciated.......HH......God Bless.......Dan

Dan in my experience the F75 LTD is anything but a silent search machine, at least the way I run it

Disc settings of less then 5 and greater then 20 are increased depth/sensitivity settings, but you'll hear more and the machine will be more susceptible to EMI. Disc settings of 5-20 are reduced depth/sensitivity settings but in trade for more stable (quite) operation.

Hope that helps,
Brian

Thanks Brian I know when I use diff. setting along and along I can find goodies where I've already been.......so I change up my setting here and there just to see....This is a very interesting metal detector for sure
I like to get other users take on these things....thanks again.....hh,,,,,,.keep on posting we gonna get the best out of the ltd yet.I've been running pretty hot lately....gotta get the noise factor down,,,,but its all good I like the ltd........Dan
