Can I run at 65 and notch in nickels on 26 and still get indans? I wnat the max discrimiation level and still get the indians. I am afraid if I run at 65 no indians will ring up.

#1..... I have not owned or run a F752........... I have had several LTD's, Camo etc.

Yes at 65 you will still get some Indians.. NOT ALL.. Indians were made up of different base metals at manufacture by the mint.
Some come in low on the scale. Fattys as their known are one example.

I'm fairly new to the F75ltd 2 as in I just got one and have only put about ten hours on it so far. I tried the settings you mentioned yesterday at an old family farm house and did not like the results one bit. This place is old and has every kind of trash you can imagine and lots of it. I was using the five inch sniper coil and the way the detector was sounding off you could tell that it was knocking out too much stuff and I lost the ability to pick out single signals from the junk as every target was broken and chirpy. I ended up backing the disc down to knock out some iron and lowered the sensitivity to quiet it down some. I didn't find anything noteworthy as my uncle has let his yard get out of hand this spring but I did pull out some old shot shell brass that had been fired in a side hammer shotgun with angled firing pins in spots my other detectors are all but useless in.

I just dug one this morning, in fact, and from about 5" the tid was hovering around the 68-70 mark. I have, however, dug them as low as 64/65. Depending on your ground, their depth and how cruddy they are, 65 might miss one here and there. HH jim tn

If you must run disc at 65, you can set your notch for nickels and then set 2 more notches to take in all the zinc's and you will get your IH's.

But if I was trying to do the same as you I would just drop the disc back to 55 and then the one notch for nickels.

Just a note nickels comes in at 29 to 31 on my machine.

Good luck Ron in WV

"Fatty" Indian Head Cents read around 45, the older Flying Eagles 46 or 47. I have spotted IHCs at 60 +/-.

I set my discrimination to about 5 and listen to all.

When possible I run my disc on my F75 LTD2 at ZERO, and it ID's deep fringe non-ferrous targets more correctly.

The more disc you run, the more performance and TID accuracy you loose.
