F75SE :fisher: Enjoy Some Wonderful Weather, Some Good Company And Found Some Silver

It was tad chilly this morning, but it warmed up nicely. I met up jimtn at an ole park to see what we could unearth. The only coin today that I found that sounded and give a ID number the way I thought it should was a clad quarter. The rest of the coins I found were all over the board with ID numbers. The tone ID was decent though. It was good enough to get me to dig to see what was there. Most of the coins were on edge and I guess that saved them from being found a time or two. I always dig when in I'm in doubt. I was running the F75SE with 11 inch DD coil in the boost mode, sensitivity 85, discrimination 7, 4H tones and GB 68.

I found some clad, a 1918 Buffalo Nickel ( I love finding these), a no date Standing Liberty Quarter, 1917 Mercury Dime, a 1919 Wheat Penny, and a 1917 Wheat Penny.

Good day you had, for sure. A couple of silvers and a few other oldies is a good day anymore. Most everything old was in the teens. Maybe the S L, too? HH jim tn

Any day you find some silver, is a good day.

Nice finds,

Tab those silvers saw a lot of use, and you missed the 1916D by one year excellent finds in my book. and not to deep, funny they had never been picked.

Beautiful work there! I like those coins with heavy character, well worn and handled...great!

I guess I need to start looking for key dates. Gunnar I'd like to turn you at some of the places that I hunt. I bet you'd clean house with super finds.

I've come to the conclusion that where you detect is the most important aspect of finding good finds. Experience being second and having the right detector being third.
