In the All Metal Mode the tones only change based on how close you are to the target and or how big the target is. I am used to hearing the tones change based on the type of target it is, ie;, iron (low), all the way up to silver (high) with my other detectors. Seems with this type of F75 feedback in the all metal mode you have to keep your eyes gluded to the display to see what the numbers are.
Am I missing something or is there a way to make the All Metal mode sing out different tones based on the different types of targets.
I know on my X-terra 50 it uses 4 tones regardless if you are in all metal or discrimination mode. I got used to hunting by sound and only looked at the display to verfiy what my ears were telling me. Iron: low tones, tabs, nickles, gold: medium tones, pennys, dimes, bc: high tones, and quarters. soda cans, and large silver rings, extra high tones.
