Faceplate Cover Film Tip

OK, If you want to laugh go ahead. I Noticed that Chips Ahoy has a clear peel film on their new cookie packaging.
Always on the lookout for things to help with my detecting, I thought I would see if it would stick to my EX II faceplate.

It sticks like static cling film only better and feels pretty tough. It also peels off without leaving glue.
Next I marked the edge with a sharpie. Then I lifted the edge and trimmed it to fit.

The final image shows the film fully covering the faceplate, all buttons function normally. It may have more glare , I haven't tried it outside yet, but its better than the pda film I had pieced together on it before. If you don't like the film , you can always enjoy the cookies. I let you know how it works in the field later..HH...Rich .:detecting:

I took it outside and it seems easier to see the display with this clear film than it did with the PDA film..HH..Rich
