Farm Field Finds

I was out hunting in an old farm filed with the 705. There was some Revolutionary War action there, but I have never found anything of interest. Thought the same thing happened this Sunday. I found a heavy round object that I first thought was a rock and what I thought was an old farm clip of some kind that I almost discarded but kept it because of it being so blue-green. Turns out one was grape shot and the other a CW era Knap-Sack J-Hook. I had started hunting using much less discrimination since the only junk in the field is old iron. Live and learn!

As much as I'm glad that the war never got this far north, I do envy the stuff you folks down there turn up.
