Farmfield Hunting With The SE Today...

Pulled a few keepers. There wasn't much out there but it was a nice day, the ground was good, the SE very well behaved, and getting nice depth on these targets. Can anybody ID this thick huge plate? Boy did it ever have a nice sound! I thought sure it was a silver dollar.

Button, musketball, 1911 wheatie, and 1883 Injun, and the "Spearhead thingy"...1/4" thick...HEAVY.

Nice finds Mike. That wheatie sure looks nice. Mine have been coming out of the ground covered in green at the sites I have been hunting

That's one of the best looking wheaties I've found...the soil at this site seemed to be pretty easy on the coins. My hunting friend Ina was using my CZ-70 and she found one of the better looking V-nickels I've seen come out of the ground too. Mos of the ones I find are toast. I took a pic of it...here it is.

I would imagine that the large object would have almost blown your ears off. Looks to be a neat looking Relic. Congrats on the Relics and the Wheat and the Injun. That was a pretty good outing if I do say so myself. Good Luck and HH.

Here's a little background on the logo:

Not sure what it would have come off of, though. Interesting find!

It's not normally, but this particular field sure was. You saw the V-nickel in my other post in this thread? I've never found another one around here that looked that good.
