Fast Tracker Batteries

Chivas Regal

New member
I have been told by a friend that n a Fast Tracker need to be swapped over after each hunting trip because one loses power quicker than the other. True or false?

Best regards

If I am right, one battery gives power to the coils, and the other to the disply...the coil will probably eat up more juice than the display...correct me if I am wrong...

Hi !

Heard this before, and is effective on some older European detectors (C-Scope) using 9V batteries. One should try, once the "stronger" battery found, to give it a "second life" by not replacing it when the other battery needs to. There are no little savings, especially with alkaline ones. Don't know if this is the case for a fast tracker, cause there is no display, but might be electronically built like the other models to maintain low prod. costs.

Check with a tester when batteries need replacement.

Happy hunting !
