FBS Lower Rods

Just curious, I don't have and old E Trac lower rod laying around, just a thought, the shaft on the Pro looks like the same shape of tubing. Has anyone tried this yet? Cheap way to get lower shafts if it does work.

As far as I know, FBS lower shafts won't work.
I've only got an Explorer SE, and I can tell you for a fact that the lower shaft from that won't work.

The Vanquish / XTP lower rod has a square rubber tip on the top of the lower shaft
The uppers are required to match that square rubber tip lower. I found ways to match some of my Equinox lowers, using scotch tape believe it or not. Minelab didn't make it easy.

Yea, have not got my hands on a Vanquish rod yet, little paranoid because all of the pics I can find does not show the little bumps on the rod to keep the rod square in the upper shaft. I have a Nox lower rod, but it turns in the upper even when you clamp it down. Kinda annoying!
