FE, Co Numbers ?

Does anyone have a list of FE-CO numbers for silver rings/jewelry? I don't know how those numbers compare to silver coins. Also what numbers do the gold grill teeth show up as? I have had my E-Trac about 4 months and will be on vacation in about 3 weeks detecting on the beach which will be my first time. I have a friend that detects alot on the beach and he has given me alot of information, he uses the standard beach program with pennies and dimes notched out with great success. I have taken all my jewelry signals and combined them with the signals posted in Andy's book along with postings on here and created a gold ring only pattern that I plan on experimenting with.

Thanks for any information

Bill,
Most of the silver rings I have found have come in 11-13 ferrous and 42 and up on the conductivity. It depends on the size of the ring. TMAN...

Rings I have found/tested all come in around 11-13 on the FE scale. The CO number could be anywhere depending on the ring. Broken rings will probably not come in between 11-13 on the FE. I recall on at 12-04, 12-22, 13-41 I think.

At the beach, you dig anything but iron. Sure you get tabs and aluminum, but you get gold too. Get yourself out of coin mode, and into gold mode. If you waste your time focusing only on coins, you won't get much gold.

Your friend's settings and advice should serve you well, I might not notch out pennies, especially zincs as gold can come in that range.

I agree, I don't want to wast my time on any coins unless it is a nickel because of gold picking up in that range. I have a few programs installed and tweaked a bit from my own experiences and information from friends that are avid beach combers.
Thanks for you input

silver jewelry should be about the same as coins. maybe a little lower for small ones on some detectors.
