3 times with gentle brushing of lemon juice and rinse between. Very soft brush. after a good drying sealed with renaissance wax.

What a great find Jeff! Mother nature put a damper on metal detecting up here again! 15.5 inches of snow this morning and 25 mph winds!

While I hate our Georgia summers with the humidity, I do like our Georgia Winter season.

Sorry if I get a little wound up but this one checks some boxes for me, beside if you don't get excited about your finds you might want to find another hobby. Jellyman and I were out today hitting some new site and old ones in the neighborhood with mixed results when I got a 60 signal on the manti. He concurred with the AT before I popped it saying most likely another rifle casing which I responded probably smaller, glad I was right this time. 1834 whig campaign button.

Jeff while you were on holiday in England I snuck back down to the site you pulled this button from a dozen times but haven’t found one comparable! Lol just kidding!

It truly is a rare button find and was a cool moment to watch live.
