Feb. 23rd Hunt with Vista Gold

Yesterday afternoon I got a wild hair to try the Vista Gold at another tough site. Everybody I can think of has been there and every type machine. It's so iron infested that as you swing its constant iron popping. No clean area. I thought before the hunt if the Vista digs 2 bullets in here I will be highly impressed. The VGold far exceeeded that. I got a good signal bleeding thru a bunch of iron in a dump. Lots of nails and iron on top. At the bottom was a US Buckle with all 3 hooks. I have never seen a machine get a good signal thru so much iron. Luv this machine.

Good job. The Vista Gold opens up new territory in those nail/iron laden areas that other machines can't deal with. I've been using mine in a ghost town that is carpeted with nails and have found many good finds. You now have a "new" site all to yourself, unless your hunting buddies get wind of the Gold and what it can do :clapping:

keep on diggin'

Great find! I can't wait to get out with my Vista Gold, snow is on it's way out, couple of weeks it will be gone and be able to hit my old foundation in the woods.
