There is a new discussion regarding the Ferrous Hound on Finders Forum.
 
To get back to the original request about PI discriminating machines Deepers have followed up the Deepers 6 which had a degree of discrimination, with the 7, claiming ferrous rejection down to 18 inches. They have a web site at
