Fertilized ground

I’m getting a continuous hi/low signal hunting a fruit tree orchard that has been fertilized over the years. I have to lower sensitivity to 7 which is not what I want. I tried a grape vineyard and the same thing happened over fertilized ground. Works well at parks. Anybody experience this issue? Never been in the water and coil cable has some cracks but nothing serious.

Cracks on old coil cable was causing ground noise updated replacement coil cleared up the issue.
