Few finds and ID question

[size=medium]Hi all,

Visited a favorite old park and found a few keepers- a nice 1840 LC, a 1920 Merc and what appears to be a Chinese coin or token- anyone know what it is??

HH!

Nice finds there - No idea on the Chinese(?) coin, but it looks old. Congrats.

Very cool finds, congratulations!

There are a few web sites that list Chinese coins with photo's but unfortunately I didn't book mark any. Funny thing your doesn't have a hole. The ones I find see, to have holes in the center, probably the coin markers were cheating the amoung of copper in each coin, ha ha ha

here's a link - the first one looks like yours.

GREAT digs!

LOVE the LC. I look forward to digging another -- though my chances are limited, for the most part, to the times I'm back home in southwest PA staying with my family. Not many LCs here in Oklahoma! :)

Nice job!

Steve
