Fiddleheads and finds

I picked a bag of fiddleheads today

Boil for a while, add salt, pepper, and butter.... then eat

Here's a few items I found last week at the old farmhouse site I've been detecting.

This is the second crotal bell I've found here, and the third I've found this Spring. I like it

1958 dog tax tag. Crusty 1863 and 1865 Indian Heads... and the crotal.
