Field pics of last hunt before Snow-pocalypse

A friend I went hunting with just uploaded some pics of our last hunt. The two guys I brought with me both pulled out their first Civil War bullets, it was a pretty exciting day, same day I pulled my first eagle button. I'm going to have to start bringing a camera with me on my hunts, field pics are so much more interesting. Hope people are able to do some hunting, we're in the middle of getting even more snow right now, but by this weekend it will be in the mid 50's, hopefully enough snow will melt to get out there and do a little teckin!!

There were skirmishes all throughout our town, and encampments also. Near every creek in town there were encampments of some sort, and we have 4 different forts that were here also. A pretty big battle also took place a couple miles west of our town. At this spot there was an encampment, and maybe some fighting, quite a few fired bullets are found.

That is soooooo cool. Just imagine those poor soldiers so far from home, eating terrible food, not having adequate medical attention and trying to make the best of a bad situation. Wow, if only those bullet could talk. What a story they could tell.

Nice finds! Sounds like you've got some cool places to hunt. HH
