Field Test the NEW Ace 150.....

I was honored to receive one of the new ACE 150 Garrett detectors to field test about a week before the dealer meeting at the factory.
From time to time I do field test for manufacturers and thus I keep unknown places for such test that have bad conditions for any detector.
In Short, I was very surprised by the performance of the new Ace 150 in bad ground. I was hunting a site where other detectors seem to act erratic at for the iron ore content about 6 inches deep at the site. However, the Ace 150 worked there smoothly even at the highest sensitivity settings. I especially like the tone ID even in All Metal more and can see where it will help a great deal at beaches looking for those thin gold necklaces lost. It gets approx. 35 hours on a set of four AA batteries which is another plus. No doubt this unit and the Ace 250 will put many other brands and models to the test. I will tell you that I found several coins at this bad site that I had missed with other detectors I tested in the past. Even found an all-brass 10 gauge shotgun shell at 7 inches that I missed before. Most of my coins I found were deep at about 5 to 6 inches, yet the tone ID and target ID were accurate on the Ace 150. It will certainly be a detector sold out of my shop for many years to come. The price can not be beat. Keith Wills

Thanks for the input Keith! They can't be beat for all the features and performance in that price range.
