Well I am done with the internal mods and finished moving the guts into a new box....in my standard MAD MAX yellow style.
The new box uses a minelab remote gell pack to reduce weight.

Looks great Scott. Hey did you cut your mount out of an old Treasure Baron case? Without any batteries you must have the weight down around 2 pounds.

Hey Scott did you just recently move from Maine to Arizona? There was a Scott from Maine who used to Post a lot of modified detectors over on Carl's Forum. He liked to use the bright yellow boxes too <img src="/metal/html/wink.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=";)"> Just wondering if you were him <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">
