Hawkeye Jim

New member
Last Saturday I dug up silver number (9:geek: and (99) and as hard as I tryed, I could not find another to make (100)..........went back out on Sunday for a short hunt due to other family commitments with NO luck..........same thing Monday.........finally had another chance this afternoon after work and I went to one of my old school spots and gridded out a section that's full of trash and worked it real slowwwwww...........finally got a halfway decent hit where a seen a hint of a 45 conductive, dug down and out popped the nice 1913 Barber for number (100) I also have to give some credit to Mrs. Hawkeye, as she contributed a few silvers to the pile and an even BIGGER thank-you to Mother Nature for extending my hunting time here in NE Iowa........I have never hunted this much this late in the year as we usually have a foot of snow and ground frozen hard as cement!!!

Merry Christmas all and HH ----------- Hawkeye Jim.

Number 100 is a real beauty Jim - congrats! I'm still detecting here in Michigan as well - can't believe it! Happy Holidays and all the best in 2012:cheers:

Congrats......who says global warming is bad? :lmfao: It was 60 yesterday in Eastern Indiana...normally I'm shoveling snow at this time of year. If this keeps up I won't have to move to get to a warmer climate.

You guys are lucky to have so many silver coins around! I wish I had that. Congrats on an incredible Milestone. But I'd be more impressed if you did it with a Non Minelab machine ;- ) ehehe

I have found 3 silver DMarks (like quarters) in the last 4 months or so. 1 per new site! And they are not hunted very hard.

Enjoy!
