My neice was also born with a 'mild case' of spina bifida, 12 years ago this April. If you would like to discuss my wife and I's perception of her development, challenges and successes, I'd be happy to correspond. I think we would offer a more objective perspective than that of parent, but we've had with unconditional love from our view as well. There are some non-physical nuances, so please seriously consider my offer. Best wishes either way.
