Finally broke the 1830 barrier, and Murphy had a day off.....

wow chris nice haul, the injuns are in awesome shape :crylol: you should see the ones we dig here:ranting:

Those are some really great finds you got there, those older IH look great plus the large cents too. We find it hard to find them up here, but some have been found, just rare. I got a large cent back in the late 70s while my wife got one a couple years ago at a well worked ball field that James that was with us sure wanted to find.
Talk to JamesND last Friday at out club meeting and he has been busy researching and sure hope he will takes us to a great site when you come up.

Nice finds, Chris!

And they sure cleaned up nice.

Terrific bunch of coins Chris. The Indians look great and the large cents are fabulous. Are those die breaks on the 1867 Indian? Finding an 1829 is stinky-old for Wisconsin - no? My oldest here in Minnesota is an 1875 and it was found out at a farm. I usually hit the parks around here but perhaps I need to start meeting some more of my country brethren. Great job on those coins Chris - you certainly have a nose for coin shooting.

Those Indians are in fantastic shape! Awesome haul for one day that is for sure. Wish I could find me a LC, hopefully this year I will. Congrats on some super finds Chris and hope you find a few more on your return visit. Continued Success, Good Luck and HH.:detecting:

Congrats Chris,
Just noticed your finds, which are in fantastic condition. I'd like to know where you picked them up from. You mentioned a farm. Just wondered if it was a ploughedfield or pasture? Over here in the UK the farmers
have been putting chemicals in the ploughed fields . It don't do the coins any favours.

have a few :beers:
the bluenose.
