Yes ... the ring is beautiful! There's an inscription inside but, even with a magnifying lens, it's difficult to read. I can make out the .925 Sterling but cannot read the other words because they're too small. On the outside, the three words "Strength - Wisdom & Courage" and inscribed. I may take it to a jeweler to have straightened.

If memory serves me correctly, my morning hunt took place on the 18th @ the John Ball Zoo here in Grand Rapids, Michigan. JBZ is one of those locations where proper retreival practices are a must! Divits will get you kicked out of the park. With that in mind, I've included a very short video on correct Metal Detecting: Plug Digging Technique for those needing a little refresher course.
P.S. Oh my gosh! I forgot the 'how'. Minelab X-terra 505, Wilcox Pro100 Digger, Going Slow & Low, Taking Care to leave the park in better stead than when I arrived.
