FINALLY got a chance to do some diggin' yesterday...

It was my 2nd week in a row that I had to work a full day on a Saturday. Been workin' 10 to 12 hours a day on top of that. Well, after church Sunday (my turn to play with the Worship band), I dragged myself out to dig (when all I wanted to do was take a nap :) ). I wasn't sure where I was going to go but I headed to an area that has a couple of "greens" off a main road. Found a spot that I'd never hunted before and gave it a shot. The green surrounds an old 1800's house. A short time into the hunt, I found 3 wheats which was an encouragement. Not too long after that, I hit a Rosie. After a couple of clad, I hit a Washington. Almost didn't dig it because it was right around a piece of iron but it sounded good in one sweet spot. Because I was using the 8", I was able to find the good signal. I haven't even touched this spot. Have off tomorrow, so I hope to be able to get some time in there again. I'd love to find some old silver :)
