it was hiding under some roots with a small piece of rusty iron.glad i rescanned the hole,woulda hated to miss this one. <img src="/metal/html/wink.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=";)">

I've been on & off Md'ing for some twenty years and now with the Minelab Explorer I may be getting closer to findin one of the older coppers. I'm doing great with the silvers but guess i'm in a poor area for that era coin.

Awsome find!!!!! I just happen to find one of those last Sunday. Mine was from 1852. It was in great shape as well. I'll try to clean it up a bit and post some pics!!!
