Well got out for an hour today to my favorite park and decided to try one of the new things Ive been reading about lately. I read about how to put it in TTF and then go really slow. Well a good majority of the ground was still frozen, I was getting frustrated and then found a part that was thawed out. So i started to work it very slow. and pretty soon I got an awesome 12-46/47 I was like no way!! so stuck my digger in the ground and thunk....couldnt hardly push it in. I was on the edge of the thawed out part. There was no way I was going to leave this one in the ground. So I pushed really hard and got the top layer off. and then pinpointed and very carefully at about 6 inches popped this quarter out of the hole. I was praying it was a standing liberty. But I sure wasnt complaining when this Barber popped out of the hole
. This is my first Barber Quarter and because of the Shape it is in Id say it is my best find. I did find a barber Half last year but it is so Worn out it is no longer my best find. 1916 D. So glad I finally got out again. And this made it all worth while.
Enjoy!
