Finally got out this year after a long, long Winter

Howdy again,

Did I mention that Winter was long? Long enough to run into Tax season, April snow, and other assorted barriers. But no more! Got out today for the inagural dance with the dirt.

I also tried out a small Excelerater DD coil in a spot that I worked several times last year. I wanted to see how much more it could sniff out among the trash. Worked pretty good! I squeezed out six Wheats and one Merc, which was more than enough for a good first outing. The Merc was the first old coin of the day (was almost the first, but a couple clad Roosies beat it), so it set a good pace.

Need to do retrain my ears a bit after being away so long, but look forward to a fun season.
