Finally got skunked at the site Ive been pounding...

worked it for 3& 1/2 hrs and couldnt come up with anything old.Time to give that area a break and move on to something else.Think Ive worked it for around 23 hrs and 6 trips. Heres a pic of the finds including 7 silver dimes,around 19 wheats,my record keeping could be better, a buffalo,chinese coin, old arcade token, and a nice sterling stick pin(blue and red with the letter E inside a wreath), the back says" Army Navy Production Award,Design Pat 134959, Sterling".That was found at about 7-8 inches.The wheat next to it is a semi key date 1912s but in bad shape.
 
Hi Mike,
I found the same pin a few years ago. I believe someone
said that it was a civilian pin given during WWII and
the E stood for excellence or something like that.
