Hey guys,
I finally hit silver with the t2 today. got permission to hunt a huge old lot that once had 2 very old homes there but have long since been gone. and man was it loaded with trash especially iron. but that didnt hinder the t2 at all. i managed to find a 1963 rosy and six nickels along with a few pennies and 1 quarter. the t2 is a nickle magnet for sure. it hits hard on 58 for a shallow nickel and 57 to 59 on deeper nickels. have started to use the delta pitch audio mode a little more and like it more and more. although it does create a lot more tones and it is a lot to process it does help with coins in trash. still have a long way to go to fully understand the t2 but i do agree that it is one of the top machines out today. although i do miss my modified mark 1 and i will most likely but another when the time comes. in my opinion the mark 1 has the best audio tones of any machine ever built and when you cross silver there is no denying that sweet tone. hopefully one day george payne will have the chance to design the micro mark 1. best of luck to you all and happy hunting..
