I have had my AT Pro for many years now and my AT Gold for a few years as well.

My AT Pro is my general go to machine since usually I am just coin hunting at the park or school and
I find it MUCH less 'chatty' than the AT Gold (the parks have so much trash) as well as I like the tones a bit better on the AT Pro.

But If I am out for Jewelry, small ear rings, charms, stuff like that...then the AT Gold is my choice.

I figured I will give the AT Max a go and if I like it....I will probably sell the AT Gold (Near mint condition - never been in the water).
