I just received my Simplex today! I haven’t used it yet, hope to get out tomorrow. Any tips?

Welcome to the Simplex club. Best of luck to you.

Keep in mind nickels sound different on the 2 coils. On the 11 inch they are a 25 vdi, on the sp24 they are a 31.
I don’t really plan on using that 11” coil. Didn’t care for it much on the kruzer and it don’t fit very well in the old Chevy. The sp24 is perfect. That 31 vdi is same as the kruzer. Kruzer may have been 29-30. The simplex is the ultimate crash hunt detector. See a spot? Stop and go. No messin around.
If I can get that coil to hit that 8” and 9” penny and silver dime I will put off buying another park/yard machine all together. Go straight for another relic machine. that size coil on the t2 is a whisper on coins that deep. Sounds like a good video. 🧐
