It finally cooled off . Hadn't hunted for quite awhile. Went to the old park where I found the 3 half dimes & seated dime in the same hole. They had a sweetcorn festival over the weekend & the grass was all matted down and dead. we are in desperate need of rain. Managed a few keepers 4 wheats, 1 nice Indian, 2 old tokens, & a rosie I managed to center punch, I dug down 2 in.& hit gravel & it was like concrete. I got down about 6 in & pinpointed then chipped out some more gravel. When I cleaned out the hole I saw it on my towel. Checked the hole & had another coin It was a 52 wheat. Sure was nice getting out for awhile, Even though I stabbed my only silver. GL HH Everyone.

Nice outing. The token came out in good shape; all the Palmolive tokens I find are eaten up usually.

Nice finds - that is a nice Indian Head . I couldn't find anything on the John Mapes token - most likely from in or near the city you found it. HH

Great stuff  ... wish I could find more tokens.
