we were getting sick and tired of seeing people below us (we are 100+ feet above the lake) and in communities all around us getting rain. They'd get lots of rain - we'd have a few drops on the ground that wasn't even enough to get the pavement all wet. Been like this for well over a month. Water levels have been dropping - and with us having a well to draw water from worries us as others are digging deeper wells (around $5,000 a shot - ouch).

Last night it started to rain and we figured 'here we go again'. It rained hard for quite awhile then turned into a drizzle that has been going all night long and is still sprinkling out...FINALLY.

Thank you God! Please send more. We need it.

Now if God can find me a paying job so we can make it through the winter months that will be great as well.

Been raining all nite here too! Some places here are supposes to see 3 - 5 inches!!!! We have flood watches near us!

Sherry says the weather satellite shows we are about past all the rain we are to get for and we only got 4 tenths of an inch. We need much much more than that.

Up on this hill we will never get a flood warning.
