This is the sight we're currently diggin. Or,should i say was diggin. It hasn't gotten over 35 degrees since then. :veryangry:
It don't look like much but DANG, is there ever a lot o' glass in that dirt.
We've hauled off to the trash 2 FILLED 5 gal. buckets o' broken glass so far
and we've only dug down about 4 inches so far.

Here is the lot o' unknowns, odds and ends and heart breakers.

And here are the keepers so far. I have no clue what we have here as far as collectables or vaulables goes.
We're sure havin a ball doin this diggin and honestly, we could care less if any of it's 'valuable'.
In the words of Uncle Prenn......." Never measure wealth in dollars".

There is however, somethin real valuable we're gittin from this dig.
( besides the wonderfully fun time with my best friend playin' in the dirt
)
I've taken four wheel barrows full o' this 'black gold' down to our garden so far.
It is the composted forest floor that has gone thru the sifter.

I thot this was a most unusual piece. It's not a 'bottle' but it appears to be some sort o' toy
because it had an axle with wheels on it. A fella from another forum says it is/was a candy dish.
I'm bummed that it's broken. Maybe we'll come across the rest of it at least and i can glue it back up.

I have so many pics to share from this dig but this site won't let but 6 posted, bummer.
Soo..it's only appropriate that i close with a pic o' our other helper.
( Deacon gits photo credit for his ear in the first pic "lol" )
