Find memories of my 1266 back in the day

New member
I used to think my 1266x was the deepest thing out there in the 1990's. With it's 10 inch coil.

I recently purchased one with the standard coil and could not believe it had 50% less air test than the Deeptech I was using at the time.

So I sold it to another guy who thought the same as me back in the day!
Had one back in the day. It was pretty deep with the 8 inch coil. I primarily used it in the woods hunting for CW relics. Got rid of it because it loved deep iron iron nails. I could not disc them out without loosing lead and brass. Very frustrating digging 8 inches to find a square nail that sounded just like a mini ball.
