Finders forum in Australia

Still there Jim.
I expect some changes as pro forma, new owner.
It's not so much about finding Gold anymore. . . it's the journey, the journey!

Try this: http://altfinders.proboards66.com/index.cgi?board=general

It's up as a contact point for finders users. Just a temp arrangement. It would be a pity to lose such an eclectic group into the wet.

hi Jim, hows the snow affecting your location? Have you managed to get a go on your mod. machine?

Here, we can't get rain. The powers that rule our day to day existence (state gov) warn that Stage 4 water restrictions are due. This means no water use outside the house. You can read that as NO FOOD GARDEN.
I have my own water tanks with water years old. . . from better times.
They are getting a flogging now, but all good things have an expiry date and so does my water. Two weeks and I'll be a dry as a dog biscuit.

We are about done with the fire potential I reckon. Now it will be the grind of water use. I wonder what Stage 5 and Stage 6 restrictions are?

I'm sure glad I come from 1856 British Stock. . . work that out. . .:ukflag:

cheers

I've just had a message from the new owner: the forum is down due to "tech problems." Whatever that means.
Cut to the chase, it's down.

Finders has had an issue with access over the last year or two. Sometimes you can make a coffee and put the cat out before the site page loads.
I'm betting on a dollar value as the reason for these events. It costs hard cash to keep a site like Finders on-line.
I hope the new owner has deep pockets.

Seems a few Yanks are missing Finders.
I notice most who complained about 'off topic' threads here don't post here anymore either.
