Got out again today on a large lot that used to have 3 old houses on it. Found 4 indian heads one 1865 one1905 and two 1907s found 2 tokens but the soil conditions had been very tough on them I am still trying to find out what merchant they where from found 1 fancy copper ring found six teens and twenties wheat pennies one thimble that is tough condition one top of a merry widow cream says price $1.00 on top and some newer money. My question is what is the best way to clean corrision off of aluminum tokens some places I find them in they are in better condition than others. The other thing is all of the indian heads I found today with the exception of one came up as strange vdi numbers. Going back to the same area tommorow to see what else I can pull out of the ground.

Congratulations on your finds. I am sure that the old houses can give a lot.

Cool finds.

Hmm if I am not mistaken the Merry Widow tin was a condom sold in the early 20th century. It was the 3 Merry Widows and they sold for a dollar. I could be wrong but that is a pretty cool find. Ya just never know what will come out of the ground!

Great finds and I bet there's plenty more there to keep you buys. Love to see those Indian cents! HH, Nancy
