ihuntrelics!

New member
Got out awhile yesterday with a couple of my diggin' buddies and we all had a great time and dug some relix. :) We were hunting around the borders of a very old mansion with some interesting history. We managed to save a bunch or relix from the hands of time. My motto is" NO RELIX WILL BE LEFT BEHIND" . Well at least that's my mission in life. Thanks for looking and HH!! :)

Here's my finds close-up and also I need some imput as to what the heck this one relic is.

OK, here is the relic in question. It was fount where only CW relics were found and has the patina and a rough crude construction. It has a lead octagon shaped exterior that has the extruded or molded look. The inside appears to be a square hole all the way through with what appears to be wood remnants. Between the wood center and the lead exterior there appears to be square nail shaped objects inbedded in the lead with some sticking out exposed. Any ideas as to what this is? Thanks for viewing and happy hunting!!
