My friend Matt and I hunted a Cellar-hole today. As you can see the dates of the finds spread out over a 100 years .
His first find with his T2 was a 1797 half cent,or so we think . the only half =cent that ends an a seven is the 1797

next Find was a US Pin . Looks to be Gold, but not sure . If anyone knows the year it was made please let us know .

The next two finds were a token.and a 1901 IH,which I found with the EX-2.

half cents are tough to find where I am (usually they just cut copeprs in half 'round here). Plus, with passionate token collectors out there that one could be rare & very collectable.....
HH,
Bill

The Celluloid Starch Co. of New Haven Conn. came out with a few Different Tokens between the late 1800's and early 1900's .
Bill , Would you know if the US pin could be civil war era.
Thanks
