Finds from last month

I don't post too many pictures so I hope this works out...
This past month has been very wet and I have been hunting trashy areas that have been hit in the past. I am using an Explorer with the 8" Stealth coil. Nothing special about the silver coins but two of the quarters were found in the same hole surrounded by trashy targets and were only 4"-5" deep. The other picture shows a 14K gold boxer dog charm (which gave me a very slight whisper) and an older 2 " long sterling silver pin with some blue stones. The only reason I dug those was because they were in older areas where you dig almost anything. Both were less that 4" deep. The other photo shows a gaudy silver ring with ping stone (glass) that I dug in a large public park/picnic ground that came up as a shallow quarter (it was just below the grass). The other ring is 14K gold with a dark red garnet and six tiny diamond chips and came from a trashy city park. It came up between pull tab and nickel and was the FIRST target I dug that day! Naturally I was surprised and dug a bunch of pull tabs after that, although I did get a silver Roosie and Merc in the same park. This is the most jewelry I have found in a month (on land) and the gold pieces were both flukes. The small coil has really opened my eyes though and I recommend it where depth isn't as much a concern as trash.

Looks like a great month to me!
How big is that sweet dog charm? Im not surprised it didnt sound off that loud being gold.

Thanks Aaron-That dog charm is a little over 1/2 in. long and it didn't sound loud at all - just a slight whisper. I was lucky to dig it because just after that I ran into a bunch of trash that was overflow from the creek I was hunting next to. It is marked 14 K - I wish I would have found the rest of the charm bracelet but I'm happy with this. HH

Nice jewelry finds!!

Thanks for everyone's comments. It was an uncommon month for me for jewelry finds. I actually found another silver band that was too junky to show and right next to it was a gold colored ring that turned out to be junk but made my heart skip a beat.
Steve (sgoss66) - yes the 8" Stealth coil I am using is the X-8 from Sun Ray. It goes down pretty deep but was probably helped by the very wet grounds (by the way, it's raining today).
HH to all.

great month.........keep it up man. NICE SILVER !
