had a bit of a bad run with the exp ll lately the last 4 hunts were fizzers been trying to find some new parks to hunt but no success yet . Today i hit my old faithful park & Finlay found some silver & got the oldest coin with the exp so far a 1879 penny with queen Victoria on it it was about 9 inch deep i very happy with it as its the first Vicky i"v found in a long time.
the coin count today was 9 pre-decimal coins 3 half Penny's 1933-1943-1943 3 Penny's 1879-1948-1952 1 silver sixpence 1951 & 2 silver shilling 1946-1953.
also found a end of war peace medallion for 1945 - a piece of silver off the hair clip or broach that i"v found 2 other bits of - a very old toy car & the usual bits of brass, copper, lead, can slaw & bottle tops + 5 1c & 2c pieces & $4 cash.
so all up i"v had a top day & hope you enjoy the pic"s
