Assisted by his sons, Aaron offered the sacrifices that God required, and he lifted up his hands and blessed the people. All had been done as God commanded, and He accepted the sacrifice, and revealed His glory in a remarkable manner; fire came from the Lord and consumed the offering upon the altar. The people looked upon this wonderful manifestation of divine power with awe and intense interest. They saw in it a token of God

Thanks Martin! We no longer have to burn animal sacrifices on the altar for repentance of sins and to worship and obey God, for Jesus is our ultimate sacrifice, Who is the Lamb of God slain upon the Cross of Calvary for us by taking our place! Our bodies are now the living sacrifice and temple of the Lord, so let us be faithful in believing in, loving and obeying Jesus by serving Him with joy unspeakable and full of glory! He is our hope and salvation of a far better life than anyone has on this earth while here in our human bodies! Our flesh may be weak but our spirits are willing when we have faith in God's beloved Son, Whom He sacrificed for our freedom and redemption from being judged guilty and cast into the Lake of Fire by our confessing all our sins and truly repenting by turning away from willfully sinning and then travelling on God's straight and narrow Highway leading to a most glorious bright mansion and being set free forever from all heartaches, pains and sorrows, for there will be no more tears in the eternal city of God! Our flesh sometimes fails us, but quick repentance by asking forgiveness right then, we are forgiven by God's mercy and grace in Jesus' precious and holy name! Jesus loves me and you, for the Bible tells me so and I know by faith that the Biblical Scriptures are the absolute truth of God Jehovah, our Almighty God, Who is Savior and Lord of our lives when we accept Jesus by faith and do not slide back into the sins we were totally set free from!
