Figured it was time to get the LTD dusted off and back into action. Except for a hand full of outings since the relic season ended, it has been resting. Fired it up along a parking lot and sidewalk stretch of a city school. For about half of my 2 1/2 hour hunt all I was digging was cents, clad and trash. After taking a drink break about 20' out from my vehicle I hit the Jesus medallion from about 3" with a reading of 90-92. Thought maybe I might dig a half. It is marked 925 and cleaned up like silver, but looked to good. Tested it and it tests in the 90-100% silver range and weighs 19.1 grams. Right near the end of my hunt I hit the 925 marked ring right along a sidewalk. No wheat cents, but dug 33 coins. Had on the concentric 6 1/2" coil and running in B P mode, sen of 85, disc 4 and 3h tones with a g b of 61. Hope everyone dug some goodies. It is downright beautiful here for digging. Mid 80's with a nice breeze. Have a Mn trip coming up and am ready for some walleye fishing and a change of ground. HH jim tn
Yeah those tight hard 92's get a fellows heart going for a half..not all the time, but still, its not a signal heard everyday. Well, you sure had a great Spring Jim, I hope the walleye treat you good! Take lots of pics and let us have a look, if you hold a small fish way out in front of you, it looks bigger in the picture!
Thanks for the post..its been a little slow here on the Fisher site.
