This is one of 12 cannons Freeman Battery has there are orginal guns we us at rennactments this one was @ Recall Lagrange in 09, we will be at Battle of Shiloh this april anyone who would like to come I will give you the dime tour, hope you like it I'm the the one taking the picture.

One of these days Hank I hope to make it there again and would love to participate/observe the re-enactments,

Firing BIG guns would be right up my alley.

I would feel at home there as I am a foreign son of the south.

It's pretty hard to get any more south of the Mason-Dixon Line than I am here in Oz, so does that qualify me?
 
I would put on #4 man pulling the lanyard, firing off the cannons is bout near spirtual only a few gets to fire off 1862 Union gun that was used in the war, you would be welcome there!
 
They have as many as 19 at a time at Michigan's biggest re-enactment.
 
That's a lot of cannons!
