hi all heres my take on my new f70 after getting to hunt with it for 2 weeks  all testing was with the stock coil..
my hunting was hindered by a very busted up left leg ( had to jump on a rock in the desert it gave way & down i went :surprised:
no gold under the rock ether BUMMER )
& the weather here in ne arizona has been a bit brisk 50s & windy
not cold by eastern standards but brrrrrrrrrrrrrr when your used to 100 temps
the unit is light & fast :wiggle: & very sensitive to nickles & rings........... a nickle magnet ..
all my finds are out of very heavily worked out areas..
also its well suited for nugget hunting though i could not get over any gold during my tests
& it works great in the old mineing camps works great in all the iron trash ( found the button in the photo with its crucible) too bad it wasn't a gold button 2 & 1/2 oz would have made my day but alas it was a lead test button..........
also the unit works on the Colorado river .. the ground there is hot hot reading 95-99 & is littered in rusty bottle caps & iron trash
i was very pleased with the results..
well thats my take on the f70 im loveing it :clapping:
good hunting all

How is your pinpoint? I've heard from some who say it's harder to pinpoint with the 11.5 DD than the stock concentric. I've only used the big DD and the pinpoint on it is extremely tight and extemely on-target. I hunt with a lot of White's and E-Trac/Exp SE users and noticed their dependence on pinpointers seems almost unreal. With the F-70, I've found it as easy and perhaps easier to pinpoint than with any of my past CZ/1200 series rigs in any of their coil configurations.

Very nice machine!

well im guilty of being lazy im using a garrett pin-pointer i like it
really speeds up the possess
from what ive seen the dd pinpoints a bit tighter than the stock concentric coil but the stock coil dont pick up rusty bottle caps :super:
im wanting to try the 6 x 10 coil as soon as i get richer
good hunting

glad you like the F70, I like mine a lot. I think you will find it likes dimes too and as you are learning silver rings. I wonder sometimes like you go to a well worked park and find a lot of nickles, was someone years earlier nixing out some pull tabs with their discriminators and thereby some nickels as well, and you come along and nail them? It is nice and light- have you gone through a set of batteries yet after finding all that stuff? Since I got my propointer last year, I could never do without. It does save a lot of time. Happy hunting- let us know when you strike Gold.

Oh yeah, not knocking the pinpointers, but actually singing praise to the F70's ability when centering over a target. I use the Garret Propointer now also but find it's greatest advantage is with the shallow, near-surface goodies. My F70 will not read accurate depth if the target is less than 3 inches deep. A dime at 2" or 1" reads 3" even when perfectly pinpointed. All my deeper targets however come in very accurate in depth and pinpoint.

Always believed pinpoint was the first operational item to be mastered with any machine because once you know where it is under your coil, then you can tell how well your rig is informing you of what is under your coil. And this machine rocks in that category.
