First Barber quarter!!!!

I had such good luck with Zero Threshold using the 5x10 HF coil, I thought I'd go back to the park and use the stock 9" MF coil. It's definitely deeper.....

I moved over to a place I hadn't hit very hard, and dug up an old can top. It was opened with a church key!! Hmmm....maybe I'll find some goodies here. Found another old steel beer/pop can. Then I had a chattery high tone. Turned out to be the Susan B dollar under a rock!! Cool!!!

About 5 feet away I had a faint signal bouncing 38-42. 1905 quarter!!! WOO HOO!!!:yo::clap: That's OLD for here. The town was founded in 1913!!

Finished off with the small Sterling/Agate ring. Great couple of hours!!!

Excellent. Great to find silver any time. Finding a Barber Quarter makes it special. Finding your first one is something you'll never forget. If you're like many of us, every 38 - 42 signal you get for the next few weeks will give you "flash backs" of that beautiful little lady. Congrats on the finds. HH Randy

That little ring is nice. The Barber Quarter must have been exciting. I've hit a couple Barber Dimes so far and its cool. I am hoping for a Barber Quarter this year.

Fantastic Find!!! Congratulations. I am still waiting on my first Barber Quarter! I also changed back to my stock coil for added depth since I was using my 6" DD for a long time.
