First beach gold!

I hunt this spot in the winter everything is coved in snow today I was there about 2.5 hours I was getting some clad when I was working A flat in front of a mansion and I had a 14-15 I figured better dig it like I always do and then I saw the edge that’s no pull tab!!! Marked 14k
Also got a 1935 mercury yesterday .

Good job on the gold and silver dime. A little gold for sure will help to keep you warm. This is turning out to be a nasty winter for us down here in s w Tn. The ice melted on the streets, but everything else has a 1/4-1/2" of ice covering it. Low double digit lows coming in, too, and those temps are quite rare for us down here. Everyone take care. Thanks Jim it’s the only time of the year I really hunt the beaches here in Ct with the super low tides makes it a lot easier..

Kinda gives me a hankering to hit the beach tomorrow if its not raining, and i have the time after work, and my body ain't to tired and hurting. A lot of factors play into the ability to go hunting these days.

Pulled these two yesterday a SLQ and mercury deep in the sand 12”-14” down just a squeak the merc was so crusty I had no idea it was a mercury! I’ll take it lol
