First beach silver

Fields far too wet due to recent rain, so got a surprise when I went to a local beach. They spend hundreds of thousands blowing sand up to bolster the defences but mother nature had other ideas. 2 high tides and a howling on shore wind and she took it all back, and then some, sixpence really did surprise me.
